Dream Team Elite — Policies & Expectations

Policies & Expectations

The following policies apply to all DTE athletes and families. Enrollment in the program is acknowledgment and acceptance of these terms. Dream Team Elite is a structured development program designed to build players over time — not a drop-in league or recreational environment. Consistency, commitment, and respect are required.

Membership & Commitments

3-Month Minimum

  • DTE operates on a seasonal structure.
    Each season = 3 months.
    All athletes must commit to the full season.
    There are no month-to-month programs.      

  • Active Enrollment

A membership remains active until the season concludes and payments are completed.
Attendance does not alter this requirement.​

Payments, Refunds, and Billing

Payment Due at Sign-Up​

There are no refunds for any reason, including:

  • Missed practices or games

  • Injury

  • Travel

  • Schedule

  • conflicts

  • Holidays

  • School events

  • Lost interest

  • Facility/location changes

  • Accidental/Duplicate Charges 

​Payment is for access to coaching, training, and the development environment — not guaranteed attendance or minutes.

Bank Disputes / Chargebacks 

Under no circumstances may a parent, guardian, or player initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with their bank, credit card company, or financial institution for any Dream Team Elite fees. All payments are final and non-refundable once processed. Participation in the program constitutes full acknowledgment of the services provided, the agreed training schedule, and the terms of this contract. Any attempt to reverse or dispute a payment outside of Dream Team Elite will be treated as a violation of this agreement. Dream Team Elite reserves the right to immediately suspend or remove the player from practices, games, or training until the balance is resolved, and may pursue legal action and collection of the owed amount, including attorney fees, processing fees, and administrative costs.

No Prorating

Membership fees are not prorated for:To claim your referral:

  • Weather-related cancellations

  • Vacations

  • Injuries

  • Holiday breaks

  • Personal conflicts

Auto-Billing

DTE uses Stripe auto-billing.
A valid payment method must remain on file at all times.

Attendance Expectations

Practice Required to Play

 Athletes must attend at least one practice per week to remain eligible for game play. If a player does not practice, they do not play.

Practice Standards

The following Rules:

  • Arrive 10–15 minutes early

  • Bring water

  • Wear Athletic gear

  • Indoor Basketball shoes only

  • Phones away

  • Maintain a coachable attitude

  • Repeated lateness or lack of effort may result in reduced opportunities.

Playing Time & Game Participation

Our priority is long-term player development and the overall success of the team. If a player is not yet ready for a competition level, or if behavior, effort, attendance, or coachability standards are not met, Dream Team Elite coaches may adjust playing time or game availability. This decision is never a punishment. It is our responsibility to protect the athlete’s confidence, the integrity of the team, and the safety of all players. Payment does not guarantee playing time.​

Conduct & Behavior

Respect is Mandatory Athletes, parents, and guardians must show respect toward:

  • Teammates

  • Coaches

  • Officials

  • Opponents

  • Facilities

No Sideline Coaching

Parents may not coach their child from the stands.
It is distracting and counterproductive.

Removal from Program

DTE reserves the right to remove any athlete or family for:

  • Toxic or disruptive behavior

  • Harassment

  • Verbal abuse

  • Policy violations

  • Undermining coaching

  • Removal does not trigger refunds.


Media, Film, and Content

Enrollment grants DTE consent to use:

  • Photos

  • Highlights

  • Practice footage

  • Game film

  • Social media content

  • Media captured during DTE activities is property of Dream Team Elite for training and promotional use.


Make-Up Sessions

Make-ups are provided only to help athletes reach the minimum 50 training hours per season.

  • Are offered at DTE discretion

  • Are not guaranteed for every missed session

  • Do not apply to tournaments or private training


Gear Requirements

Athletes must have:

  • Official DTE uniform for games

  •  Matching shorts 

Not allowed:

  • Jewelry

  • Slides/sandals on the court

  • Phones during drills

  • Outside coaching instructions during sessions


Schedule Adjustments

Sports environments change.

Schedule changes do not justify:

  • Refunds

  • Credits

  • Discounts

  • Membership pauses

DTE will communicate changes as early as possible.


Team Placement

Team assignments are determined solely by DTE coaches.

Placement is based on:

  • IQ

  • Development

  • Skill level

  • Work ethic

  • Team needs

  • Coachability

Parents do not negotiate team placement or minutes.

  • Jewelry

  • Slides/sandals on the court

  • Phones during drills

  • Outside coaching instructions during sessions


Injury Policy

If injured:

  • Athletes may stay enrolled

  • Athletes may attend film or modified trainings

  • Athletes may participate in non-impact drills

If membership pauses or is canceled:

  •  Loyalty resets

  • Referral eligibility resets

  • Placement is not guaranteed upon return

  • NO REFUNDS


Final Statement

By enrolling in Dream Team Elite, you agree to follow all policies listed above. Failure to comply may result in suspension or removal without refund. Dream Team Elite is a competitive development program built on discipline, respect, accountability, and long-term growth.
